cake question

Can anyone recommend a bakery in the White Marsh/Towson area for a 1st birthday cake?  I would like something yummy and pretty/cute.  I did Wegmans for my husband's 30th and didn't love it.  And, we did a bakery in Towson for the christening and it was awful.  Any help would be appreciated.

Graul's in Ruxton and Padonia. Their cakes are really good. You can ask for buttercream if you prefer that over the regular stuff.

I got my LO's cake at Coscto for her 1st Bday--it was delicious and only $15. They have certain designs though so it's limited. One of the designs is balloons so I did that and wrote on the paper if they could do certain colors (the theme of her party) and they did.

Yia Yia's gets recommended a lot on here for that area...I have never had anything from there though.

I love Yia Yia's as well, however, we purchased our Christening cake from Woodlea Bakery.  It's in the city on Belair Road, but their cakes are yumtastic!

Surprisingly, I've found the Costco & BJ's cakes to be really good!  My best friend got me cake from one of those for my bridal shower.  It was soooo light & yummy!  10x better than the actual wedding cake!

For the baby shower, my SIL got a cake from Grauls I think & I didn't like it.  The icing was way too sweet for me.
