Chickenpox and Pregnancy

Help!!! I am 14 weeks pregnant, my two year old son has chickenpox, I have been caring for him all day no worries I had them when I was his age not too worried about getting them myself. My MIL just called and told me I need to stay somewhere else until his pox cleared up because of the baby. Do I really need to be worried about this? I understand it is a virus but is the baby really at risk if I am not? This is very hard for me because I want to take care of my little man and he doesn't want to be with anyone but me right now, however I do not want my other baby to have birth defects or complications because of this. Please advise!!! Thank you!

Thank you that's what I thought my hubby is freaking out right now and won't even let me hold our son bc his mother is convinced the baby is at risk. Thank you!

My Dr. checked my immunity when I went in for my first appt and said it's just standard practice, but most people who had it before are immune. Do you think your Dr would have tested you during bloodwork on your son?
