how heavy was your first PP period?

still wondering if this is AF. im 10w PP but my bleeding although contnuous is very light. not even heavy for a pantyshield. TIA

I bled consistently for about 50 days, it let up for 2 or 3, and AF showed up HEAVY and for 7 days. Basically, I bled for 59 straight days PP. Ugh.

Mine was insanely heavy this week.  I was near the point of going to the hospital because I didn't think it was AF.  But then it evened out.  TMI but I put a tampon in and used a pad as backup- I bled through both in less than 20 minutes the other morning. I had stopped bleeding PP at about 2.5 weeks.  Then got AF this week at 7 weeks PP.

 But as usual, everyone is different.  Your's could be light.

I read stories on here about how it would be super heavy; think back to right after you gave birth. I guess I was one of the lucky ones, cos mine wasnt bad at all. I hardly had cramping, I could wear normal pads and didnt leak once. Easy breezy. But there was a break between the postpartum bleeding and my first postpartum period.

Mine wasn't too bad. It was actually better than my pre-preg periods. It lasted 5 days, and I didn't have to wear the ultra overnights, just regular pads.

my first one was heavy and i cramped ALOT, it also lasted about 5 days vs my normal 3 days. now my second one was more like my period was before i had my daughter, lasted 3 days and it was done cramping on the first day

thank you ladies. my bleeding pre preg wasnt this light. will consult the OB but if indeed this is AF then am lucky coz no cramps at all and is very light.

It was pretty heavy for a day or two but for me it was like a normal period... just like I had before I got pregnant.
