    I totally get it..... but I don't thik I would be able to stand seeing that.  I'd snatch my LO and run lol

    They did it at the hospital and I didn't get to see anything...

    Done at the hospital on discharge day and I cried for like ten minutes when they brought him back in I felt so bad, but I'm definitely glad we did it.

    It was not traumatizing at all, actually.

    It is a tradition for us and more of a celebration of a new member in the family. Also our pediatrician happens to be a family friend so he was present along with the Mohel just in case.

    Also, many Mohels nowadays perform circ'ing on gentiles, a few of our non-jewish friends have done this and recommend it over using a hospital setting.
