Grinding teeth

my daughter started grinding her teeth today. how do i get her to stop? anyone else dealing with this?

    Griffin does this all the time and it drives me crazy!  I usually try to distract him or give him a toy to chew on so he stops.

    E does it too.  Totally makes me cringe. I called the dentist, they said it's totally normal and not to worry unless they're doing it in their sleep or to the point of crying.

    Jack did this for a few weeks right after his last top teeth came through, but it was a phase...he just stopped eventually.  I actually asked our dentist about it at my appt.  and he said its pretty typical for them to do, just to kind of explore their teeth a little, If it doesnt stop talk to your doc though.
