Hi ladies! I have been lurking for a while. my name is Allison and I am coming from the pregnancy loss board. Me and DH lost our precious Lillyan at 33 weeks due to a placental abruption. The docor thinks that the abruption was caused by a uterine septum. I had surgery a couple weeks ago to have the septum removed. The surgery went well. In another couple weeks I have a follow up appointment to make sure I healed the way I was suppoesed to. Then we will have the green light to ttc. I had a question so I figured it was time for me to come out of lurking. I have noticed that there are alot of late loss mommies on this board and I was wondering how long you ladies waited before ttc again. I'm scared but I want a baby so bad at the same time. Everyone keeps telling me to wait but they have never been through what I have so I wanted to ask the ladies that have.
TIA
Re: Intro
I didn't have a late loss, so I can't answer your question, but I just wanted to say I am so sorry for the loss of your Lillyan. **big hugs**
When you get a chance, we have a TTCAL blog with a lot of great info and the link is in my siggy.

Hi Allison...My name is Allyson and I too had my uterine septum removed!!! We lost our little girl at 19 weeks, but they think it's because of the Down Syndrome. I'm so sorry about your loss.
Our loss was almost a year ago. I had to wait so long because my first OB did nothing so I switched. Then no one could decide if I had a septate or a bicornuate uterus. I've been in "recovery mode" since June, but now we've been all cleared to TTC again.
I had a hysteroscopy along with a myomectomy so my recovery was a bit longer. But then I had to have another hysteroscopy to remove more septum that was left behind. It was hard to see on the first one because my fibroids were so large. After my second hysterocopy (no lap) he only had me waiting after one cycle.
Welcome...hope your stay is short.
