Please say it's so!!! Hg diminishing?

Hi hi hi

I'm cautiously optimistic because I *think* my hg is subsiding! I was out of commission all day before. Then last week it would hit about 330. Wednesday sucked.

but Thursday and Friday I didn't have any nausea symptoms! Last night I felt a bit overall yucky but it wasn't the hg feeling yucky.

saw dr yesterday and they took me off 1 of the 3 medications I'm on. They also said they would see me in 3 weeks as opposed to every week. And I didn't need the IV hydration! I've started drinking water again!!!

I'm still being very slow moving around. Eating every 2 hours... But I've added peanuts to the mix...

everyone at my church and my fam gas been praying for me... And I'm starting to be okay with this pg now! I can actually cautiously see myself being functional eventually! Yay!!!!!!!!

Re: Please say it's so!!! Hg diminishing?

  • Good for you! I feel my m/s diminishing a little and am able to eat if I keep up the every 2-3 hours. I find if I don't eat for too long the sickness gets worse. I think protein also helps with that. I'm a carbaholic and don't eat enough protein! I love trail mix that I make at home, craisans, cashews, almonds and that's it :) easy and tasty! Also cheaper than the store bought stuff. I also keep granola bars in the diaper bag so I always have something handy.

I also found that chewing two flinstones vitamins vs the normal prenatals was WAY better. Just a thought!

Hopefully since you're almost out of first tri, that will mean less sickness. I told DH today that I wish for 5 mins that he could feel as $hitty as I do because he keeps saying "be happy we're having a baby"... of course I'm happy but feeling like you are going to puke every second is not something that puts you in a chipper mood!
  • YAY! That's great news! I'm glad you're starting to feel better now and I hope it keeps up! I remember when I could finally drink and eat (even if just a tiny bit) again! It was the best feeling ever!! =) Esp since I'm usually the type of person that lives to eat, rather than eat to live =]

You're doing the right thing in being a bit cautious. I remember one day, I thought I was all better and ate a huge breakfast and it came back up so fast, I didn't even have time to make it to the bathroom =/ Needless to say, I started to tread more carefully when I felt any better after that =P So take it easy and hope it's all smooth sailing from here on out!

  • I've been keeping up with your FB updates.  Hooray!  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.  Smile  My nausea didn't completely subside until around 15 weeks, but I was definitely feeling better by around week 13.
  • SUCH wonderful news!!!!!  I can't imagine feeling like that 24/7.  My SIL had the same type of pregnancy and I felt so bad for her :(  Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better :):)
