I never have personally. Too afraid to. But a good friend of mine did & literally got pregnant on that cycle-it was her fourth IUI. Loved having that conversation-of course she told me I should be taking matters into my own hands. I honestly thought it was just coincidence that she conceived that cycle but she insists that's what did it for her.

They want me to trigger at 9pm Sunday night, IUI around 9am Monday morning. 

Oh and we are dealing with MFI too.  I am on 5ui Lupron & 150ui Gonal-F, last injections are tonight.

Are you at CNY?

I did 3 clomid cycles & 2 IUI's with them, each triggering 12 hours before = BFN.

3rd IUI (same protocol as you are on, but no MFI) I did go against the 12 hour timeline and did it 24 hours before = BFP.

I struggled with this same question/decision for a little while.

While I never usually recommend going against your RE's rules, this was our last IUI before taking a long break to save for IVF. So I thought, "what the hell, something to change it up". 

Whatever you decide, good luck!!

So, iui 12 hours from trigger? Mine were 24-30 hours after, I would actually have preferred to do them closer to 36 hours after.  Maybe you can call and ask them if you can do it earlier?

I called them this morning, sat on hold for 1.5 hours...the phone finally rang, but no one picked up after 12 rings.  I called back and sat on-hold for another 20 minutes.  I'm done calling them today, lol.

So, since I can't ask them, I'm asking you ladies and the internet.

No way.  I am paying them too much money to f*** it up.  My feeling is they are the doctor and I am the patient while I may sometimes think I know a lot I don't know jack compared to them.  If you don't trust your doctor then I would suggest getting a new one.

Is it possible that they are planning to do B2B IUIs at 12 and 36 hrs?  That is actually fairly typical timing for B2B.  Some clinics do 24 and 36 hrs, but again 12 and 36 are not uncommon.
