Poll: What does your child do to self soothe?

I'm just curious as I sit here watching Avery rub from the top of her head down over her eyes, with her eyes getting heavier and heavier each time. It's so darn cute to watch her put herself to sleep. Tessa doesn't have something similar, but the only time she takes her paci is when she's really sleepy, so I guess that might be it?

What does your child do to self soothe?

Mine aren't here yet, but my best friend's little girl twirls her hair.  It's too cute!

my son sucks his left thumb while playing with his ear with his right hand.

my DD doesnt really have anything although she will suck her thumb to fall asleep.

Vivienne does this... love it.

Audrey has lovey's, but she's not a very good self-soother.

We put them in their cribs wide awake.  They both immediately flip over to their bellies.  Lily crosses her feet and promptly passes out.  Sophia chats to herself for 10 minutes, crosses her feet and then passes out.

Jake pets his sock monkey, usually his leg. Addy typically talks herself to sleep, but if shes really tired she will roll over to her belly and taste all of her pacis. There are probably 8 of them in her bed, lol, and she has to try all of them before going to sleep.
