I think that I am getting sick.  I do not have time to be sick, but my throat is killing me.  I need some good home remedies to ward off this cold.  What do you do when you start to get sick?

I drink acai juice, sometimes POM, and load up on antioxidants.  If I catch it early enough, I find it to be a BIG help.  I hope you feel better soon.

I used to roll my eyes when my grandmother would tell me this, but now I realize how right she was....if your throat hurts, gargle with warm water and salt.  Its quite nasty, but it does make my throat feel better.

DH takes like 1000 vit C and tylenol and he gets rid of a cold in like a day or so
