8 weeks and excited!

Hello ladies!

I'm new to the NM board. My husband and I have been trying to have a child for quite a while. We had three miscarriages, and we've been seeing a fertility specialist. Dr. Caperton, highly recommend him! We're pregnant again, but this time I'm getting daily blood thinning shots and seeing Dr. Caperton weekly.  We've had three ultrasounds, and we get another one tomorrow. So far everything looks great! We decided not to tell anyone but BFF's and family. I'm so excited I needed to tell someone so you all get to hear the news

How exciting!  I'll send positive thoughts your way.  

It is so hard keeping the secret.  DH and I just gave up after a week and told both our families and all our close friends.  Still haven't told our extended group of friends (I'm 9 weeks) but sometimes I just want to post it on facebook because it's so awesome.   Best wishes!  I'm sure the wait will make it eve more fun when do start telling people.

Congratulations!  We have actually been seeing Dr. Caperton too since about March 2009.  We have been TTC since Oct 2008, but I have PCOS.  So after being put on metformin, 6 cycles of Clomid, and taking a break of the clomid for a while, we asked Dr. Caperton to try Femara, and got pregnant in the 2nd cycle!  We are due 1 wk after you (although based on LMP, my due date is 4/19/11).  We have had 2 ultrasounds w/ Dr. Caperton, and we saw/heard a heartbeat last week!

Well, I wish you the best!  I know what you mean being excited to tell people (we haven't posted on FB or anything, but I've told a ton of people--it's just so exciting!)  It sounds like it will be nice for both of us to get past the 1st trimester!

Thanks everyone! The ultrasound went great! I had blood in my uterus and the doctor thinks its gone. I cannot wait for the second trimester to tell everyone!

I know you posted this a few weeks ago but I just wanted to say Congratulations! After such a long battle with trying to get pregnant, I am sure it's a major relief and even a bigger waiting game. I am sending lots of positive thoughts your way and pray for a happy and healthy pregnancy. I just entered 2nd trimester a couple weeks ago and it really is such a big relief to get there! Good Luck!!
