I've heard many differing opinions on sleeping arrangements. Some say sharing one crib is ok, others say only for the first 3-4 months. I was contemplating mini cribs due to space issues.( They will be in our room at first, our other 3 bedrooms are upstairs) But Im leaning towards the Graco twin pack n play, or using the twin divider for a standard crib (but I read somewhere the divider is really only good for the first few months).
So my question is what are you doing in regards to sleeping?
Re: Let's talk cribs..
Ditto this.
We didn't want to crib share because we'd been told by medical staff that it was a SIDS risk, and as it turned out our guys preferred sleeping apart anyway - so I'm glad we already had two since I'd have hated to have to go out and buy and assemble a crib in my hormonal, sleep deprived state lol!
We moved a crib in our room and the girls slept in it until week 12...I think. Week 10 or 12 anyway---my mind is fuzzy tonight! We were actually encouraged by medical staff to sleep them in the same crib when they first came home. I know there are differing opinions on this, but some feel it helps the babies feel more secure, etc.
They started to get cramped in one crib. So we moved them to the nursery and to their own cribs w/out any transition problem.
The bassinet portion of the PnP has a weight limit of 15 lbs so you won't get as much time out of it as you think you would especially if both are sleeping in one even with a divider.
Just FYI
