Our reward system really works...

A few weeks ago I got DS a colorful notebook (an adult journal really). There are about 100 pages, all different colors. Totally fun! Everytime he pees or poops on the potty he gets a sticker. He loves it! I am a crafter/scrapbooker, so I had a ton of stickers around the house and try to give a different one everytime. We are not yet committed 100% to potty training, but he goes between 4-10 times a day. All of his poops have been on the potty for a few months, and he now tells me when he has to poop. And today he told me when he had to pee.

 

YEAH for progress and stickers! :~)

Yay! We found that as much as he loves stickers, sometimes he needs more and that a combination of stickers and chocolate bits is working better. He's actually started telling us when he needs to go as well - and I think a lot of that is down to rewards.

yea for stickers!  sounds like you just need to pull the switch and ditch the diapers!

in our experience, pooping in the potty was the hardest! sounds like your good there!
