NICU Grad parties?

Will any of you ladies take your LOs back to the hospitals for NICU graduation parties year after year?  We just got an invitation to ours, and I'm thinking it could be fun to see the nurses and docs under much happier circumstances!

our NICU only does them every other year, but yes. We're planning to go this year.

Yes!  every year and it's soooo fun.

This would be our first year, but we'll be out of town they day they are having it and I'm soooooo bummed! I wish we could make it - hopefully next year!

We go every year.  It is so much fun to see the docs and nurses and for them to see DS.  Ours is actually next week.  I'm excited!

Yep!  Ours is on Sunday, this will be our 2nd one   It is a fun & happy day.  The nurses and staff love seeing the babies grow up.

We took DS to his.  I thought it would be more emotional than it actually was.  It was fun to see the doctors and nurses, as well as the families we became friendly with while DS was in NICU.  Not sure we'll go every year though.

We just went this past weekend.  It was great to see the doctors but the primary nurses that had our babies weren't there.  We just saw a few nurses that here and there treated them.  Also, we got close to a few families while in the NICU and kept in touch for a bit, not the past 6 months though.  They weren't there and that was kind of sad for us.  Not sure if we'll go next year.  If we do, it's to see a few doctors that we grew fond of in those two months.
