CP: First thing you do when you get in the car

DH picks on me so much about this! He says that the first thing that anyone should do when they get in the car is buckle up. I like to get in, turn on the car, get situated, turn on the radio and then buckle up before pulling out. DH just gets in, buckles up and then starts driving! He situates and plays with the radio while he's driving. It drives me bonkers!

I am obsessed with my seatbelt. I even put it on when I am moving the car to a different spot in the driveway, or inching it up at the gas pump

I'm the same as you. I mess with everything and then buckle up just before I drive off.

I'm with your DH on this one. Turn on the car, put on my seatbelt as I'm backing out of the driveway, and then once I'm going, fiddle with the radio.

I start the car first, then put on my seat belt. It probably developed in that order because 99% of the time I forget something in the house and have to run back inside

I start the car to get it cooled down, then I put my seatbelt on before I start moving, then mess the radio as im pulling out of the driveway.

I had to think about this one!  I'm pretty sure the first thing I do is start the car.  Then I mess with the radio and AC/heat, buckle up last.

I generally get in, put my purse and stuff where it needs to be, put my cell phone in it's cubby, take down the window screen things and then put on my seat belt. It's just to hard to do all that while wearing my seat belt!

I am also a stickler for putting my seat belt on before starting the car though.

I buckle, start the car and then maybe change something when we're on the road. 99% of the time the radio stays on the same station and I don't need to adjust anything else.

I multi-task.. I'll start the car with one hand and attemp the seatbelt with the other.. when all is said and done i will throw on the sunglasses open the window and play with the radio... and hit "map" on the GPS usually all before i get to the end of the street...

I always put on my seatbelt first. It's such a habit that I even put my seatbelt right on when I'll be sitting in the car and not driving.

I live in FL & it is always SOOO hot, so the first thing I do is start the car to get the A/C going. Then I get comfortable, then I put on my seatbelt, then play with the radio.

This is me exactly.. everyone makes fun of me, even if I hop in someones car to talk I put my seatbelt on, even if we aren't going anywhere. I'm a habit kind of person.
