AW'ing my DH!

DH totally surprised me last weekend. I came home from work. He had arranged a sitter, made dinner reservations at my favorite restaurant, and had bought me a new dress so he could take me out to dinner. Here's the dress he bought! It fits me perfectly.

 

He had also bought me my favorite dessert. So after we got home and after the sitter left, we sat and ate it in candlelight. So what was the occasion? Not our anniversary, my birthday or anything. Not because he was trying to suck up for something he did or didn't do. NOTHING! He did it because he loves me. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world. Thanks for letting me AW!

My DH is like that but I can say its been a little while since he's done something like that. He did clean out B's toy closets and a few other closets on Tuesday, does that count?

Anyway, good for you two for keeping some romance!

We NEVER get a date night (and really, it's been several months), so this was such a nice surprise.

I'm embarrassed to even say DH haven't had one since B was born. Well, we did have 2 weddings about 3 yrs ago and one day we ditched work to go to the movies last year. We are pathetic.
