returning clothes bought at Carter's to the outlet, is that possible?

My mom bought the boys some clothes from the Carter's in Austin and I'm not about to drive to that store just to return some stuff.  She bought them 24 month size and I've got little guys, so I need to exchange it.  Will the outlet in San Marcos let me do that?  I do have the receipt.

    The ones at the outlets are the same as a regular one. They should take them no problem :)

    I haven't tried to return regular stuff to the outlet, but Carters was great about returns/ exchanges after one of my showers.  Kate was 6 weeks old at the time and we got a ton of newborn stuff that I returned, much of it without receipts.

    Yeah, the Carter's stores at the outlet mall in SM is not actually an "outlet". It carries the same merchandise at the same prices as all of the other stores.

    Carters does not have a time limit on exchanges or returns with or without reciept.

    You should be ok.  I got some duplicate packs of onesies as gifts and we returned them to San Marcos.  The store isn't really an outlet store.  :)
