And we have a heartbeat!

Today MH and I went in for my 10 week appointment and we were able to hear the heartbeat!

LO was being a stinker because it took a while to get it, and when we finally did hear it, it was only for a few seconds. Doctor did not seem to be worried and she said that it was about 160bpm based on what she could hear for that short time.

I'm so excited now and finally can breathe a sigh of relief

Yaaaaay! Heartbeats can be difficult to find at 10 weeks (the angle has to be just right), so don't stress that it took a while to find or that you only heard it for a few seconds - it's all good.

Yay for a HB!! I remember seeing it at almost 7 weeks, it's nice to see but SO much nicer to hear because it's like music to your ears. SO glad your DH was there with you to enjoy it

Congrats!  Like Lisa said, baby is still so tiny that the wand has to be in just the right spot to catch the hb.  Isn't it just the biggest relief?  Even though I feel Baby T's movements, it's still the best feeling to hear his heartbeat at our check-ups.

Hooray mama!  You're almost through the first tri!  I cannot say I was any less worried...just worried in a different way...but that is SO normal and I suspect the beginning of the rest of our lives as mothers...worried about something!  Hope it's starting to feel "real" to you now...soon you'll have a little bump and then everyone will know!

Hooray! I remember I felt so relieved the first time we heard the heartbeat. You got a lot of things to look forward to. It gets more exciting from here on out .

YAY!!  what a relief   we couldn't hear a hb at 9 weeks, but I went back later in the day and saw it on u/s (thank goodness!).  MH was sad he missed it (he had to go back to work).  so yay for hearing the hb,and yay for YH getting to hear it too - I think early on, it helps make the whole pregnancy more real to the dads and helps them feel more connected.

It is such a sigh a relief for sure.  I have already "seen" the hb, but hearing it is SO much better   It does make it seem more real now since I still feel so normal (besides me not being able to button my pants today).  Hooray for the hb! :)

I remember hearing J's like it was yesterday, what a huge moment  I could not be happier for you and it just keeps getting better and better... wait until you see him/her bouncing around when you have an U/S.  *big hugs*

yay!!!! they couldn't find LC's hb last week. i think they're too small and they hide sometimes. hahaha
