Found out what the babies are!!!!

Two sweet little girls.  I am excited but finding myself fighting disapointment that one of them wasnt a boy.  I realize this is a totally selfish adittude on my part but DH is fighting it too.  They were both healthy and had all the fingers and toes and organs so on that front Im very happy.

I never intended to dress my babies alike but today at Baby Gap there were 2 black and white sundresses that were on the clearance rack for$7 each.  I bought them.

Twin girls are awesome! I won't deny that we felt the twinge too of not having a boy, but I think we would have felt the same way with 2 boys about not having a girl. I wouldn't trade my little girls for the world though, they really are a joy.

Congrats! I had 2 sweet little girls 14 yrs ago and they are best friends! It's great having girls! I am pg with twins again and I would be so happy to have them all over again! Good luck!

Congrats!!!! I am having two girls as well!! I know my husband was a bit disappointed there wasn't one boy but in time he will get used to it. As little girls love their daddies. And little girl clothes are so fun to shop for.

We are team pink too and it was a little sad to know we'd never have a son, but I cherish the idea of having 3 girls.  I love my DD so much and look forward to bonding with her when she is older by shopping and playing Barbies and stuff.

Congratulations! I had similar disappointment when we found out we were having two boys -- a little sadness at not having a daughter. But once they're born, they're yours and they're perfect.

I know exactly how you feel!! We just found out today that we're having identical twin girls! We thought for sure it was boys since 12weeks. i think we are both a little disappointed about no boy, but, i would have felt the same if it were reversed.

Anyway, Congratulations!!!! 

By the way, so funny....I ALSO randomly went to baby gap and bought matching outfits  (on sale).

I'm so, so glad you posted this, and so many people responded!!  I thought I was a terrible person for having a feeling of loss when I found it was was 2 boys.  We would have felt the same way if they were 2 girls.  It took so much to get pregnant this time, we can't see ourselves going through it again, but every so often DH will say "next time they'll just put one embryo back."  The feeling does go away (I think mine lasted that day only - DH, too) and then I was so happy to have two healthy babies, two boys who will be best friends.
