Listen to Hypnobabies first?

Is there anywhere I can listen to a clip of the hypnobabies set before purchasing?  I'm thinking of purchasing the affirmation downloads, but I'd really like to hear a small clip, just to make sure I don't find it irritating.  Anyone know of any sites where you can listen to a short segment of it before purchasing?  Thanks!

I don't know,  but IMO, I do think her voice is pretty soothing, and the music is subtle... not irritating in any way.  I've heard people say that the Hypnobirthing tracks can be irritating, but I've never read anything like that re: Hypnobabies.

Thanks!  On their website, it says that the first affirmations track is "after 38 wks of pregnancy only"...is that true?  I assume it won't like, throw me into labor earlier.  LOL.  Can you recommend the first or second affirmations track above the other?  Thanks!

there is a joyful pregnancy affirmation track to listen to while you are preggo and then there are affirmation tracks to listen to after 38 weeks.  You can download some free tracks on the hypnobabies website. 

I am currently doing the hypnobabies home study course and I find it unbelievably relaxing. 

I highly recommend the course.  It has been really great in helping me to relax.

The first track is the birthing day affirmations and says things like "today is the day" It's all in present tense so they don't recommend you listen to it before you're full term. The second track is a pregnancy affirmation and says things like "pregnancy is natural, normal, healthy, and safe for me and my baby. My body knows how to be in perfect health. My birthing time will be easy and comfortable." It works on rewiring your brain to not fear birth. I find it wonderfully relaxing, I love listening to it while doing housework. I don't find anything irritating about it, and I think I'm pretty easily irritated:).

At first, yes, I found the voice bordering on strange, but it very quickly became soothing and now I associate it and the music in the background with deep relaxation.

I'm also easily irritated and amused by things like hypnosis.  I decided to try Hypnobabies anyway and I actually love it!  I listen to the joyful pregnancy affirmations CD every morning while I get ready for work and I honestly love it.  Even though it's kind of funny to me "My iron level is high.  My blood pressure is perfect every day and night.  Babies are born on their birth-day, not when doctors decide." etc. there is truth to it and it soothes me!  And guess what . . . my iron levels ARE high and since I've been listening to it, my rising blood pressure has dropped, dropped, dropped.  I'm also finding myself more patient about waiting for the baby on his/her own time and feeling VERY little stress about everything.  It works!!

Search on youtube for hypnobabies labor or childbirth and there are a few videos where they play the tracks in the background.  You can hear what she sounds like.  For the record, I am very easily irritated by things like that, and I love her voice!  The only problem is that I fall asleep every time....

Thanks ladies.  I downloaded the 2 affirmation tracks.  She's not terribly annoying.  The only thing that bothers me is that you can constantly hear her swallowing!  I suppose that's true of most meditation/affirmation recordings though.
