period but no temp drop?

Is there always a temp drop when you get your period?  I'm 10 dpo and had the highest temp I've ever had and looks like I've started my period.  I thought it was always a drop then you started your period?  This is my first month charting so thanks in advance!

Typically you get a temp drop the day before or the day of. If your temp stays high I would temp, especially if your period is lighter than normal for you.

Lots of ladies do not get a temp drop until a few days into AF or even after she's gone. I wouldn't stress it.

I just (finally!) had my first period charting, and my temp didn't drop until after AF was over.  I guess that happens with some people.

i believe i read on ff that your temps can stay elevated through af

My temps steadily decline during and after AF. Kinda sucks cause there's not really any warning.

Your temps can change each month and it is possible for your temps to stay hi. Last cycle my temps stayed until CD6 or somewhere around there. I would just continue to temp; and yes, if you are concerned, you can always take a HPT.

What a bummer!  I was really counting on a days notice!   Glad to know I'm not alone though, thanks!

Cycle before last, they definitely dropped way down then I got AF.  This most recent cycle, they dropped, not below coverline, but I still knew AF was on the way.
