Duggars expecting??

Just saw the commercial on TLC that someone is expecting... and they left it at that, and won't tell until Tuesday!

 

Who do you think it is? I sure hope Josh and Anna.

What?! No way!! I thought they would be done with the last one after the last complications they had with their daughter. I agree with you. I SURE do hope it's Josh and Anna expecting baby #2.

It is one of the Duggars. It was a commercial about them. It's just a question whether it is Josh and Anna or Jim Bob and Michelle.

Oh my really??  I watched the episode on DVR, but it stops before they show next week's preview!  

 

I bet it's Josh and Anna.  Michelle has been in Little Rock for the past 7 months with Josie.

haha! I was wondering the same thing...I was searching the internet this morning trying to figure it out. It will probably end up being a friend of the family or something. They just want to make sure we watch the next episode!

Just watched last night's episode. She makes a comment about whether or not they would have more kids. The way she sees it is she had pre-eclampisa with one of her way pgs and none since then until Josie. She sees all the children between and asks herself if she would have stopped because of pre-e and says she can't imagine not having those children in her lives. Whatever happens is in God's hands. I personally think it is scary for her but like she says, she is the mom and it is their decision not ours. I give that family a lot of credit. They are great parents, raise responsible children, and live without debt. Although I am in favor of some forms of BC (don't like IUDs personally) and will not have as many kids as they do, am sure I can learn something from them about loving your kids!

With all the pregnancies they've had statistically they would eventually have one with a problem.  They also will not use birth control because Michelle got pregnant while using birth control but miscarried because of it and they felt awful.  They didn't know that BC is abortifacient and you can still get pregnant it will just be terminated.  That is what started them having lots of kids.  They decided to let their reproductive life be in God's hands and I commend them for that choice.  As NurseJK said, they aren't in debt, they spend lots of time with their kids who don't lack for anything and are very happy.  I don't see a problem.

That being said, I hope it's Josh and Anna so that Michelle has more time to recover physically and time to devote to Josie.  I don't watch the show because I don't have cable anymore but I absolutely wish I could.

I have yet to watch it. It's on my dvr for tonight. I'm going to guess it's Josh and Anna. Just because Michelle has been in little rock for so long and was spending I think they said like 19-20 hrs between the hospital and pumping. Then her and Jim bob spent time away from each other when he took the kids home and she stayed in little rock. And the normally don't put it out to the public that they are expecting until at least 3 mos along.

I kind of hope its one of their unmarried teen daughters.  Now that would make for some good TV!  Seriously though, if its Michelle, I think she should just be arrested and have a tubal forced on her.

I think they are good parents and it's good that they have no debt. BUT at this point she is risking her life with more pregnancies. How fair is it to her other 19 children if she died trying to have just one more? I think it is time for her to quit the babymaking business and enjoy the family that she has.

I'm going with Josh and Anna.  And I'm ashamed to say I find that show very interesting.  I think after the last one, Michelle should have had her tubes tied.  She has to be about menopausal doesn't she?

Teehee you should know it only takes a minute or two! My friend had a kiddo in the NICU and it was always the scandal about which NICU parents were getting busy in the breast pumping room, sleeping areas, Ronald McDonald house, etc. Some people see it as stress relief. She was like uhhh no way were we interested while our son was so sick! So you never know...

I do have to say that anyone that gets oh is risking their life. There was a mom on here who was very healthy, had a healthy ph and died shortly after giving birth. She had a amniotic fluid embolism and this was her first child. Their is also a guy who has been on a few talk shows where his wife died the same way. It was their first child aswell. So really weather it's you 1st or 20th child things can happen. I do remember after the one before Josie was born she said that if the doctors told her it was not healthy to carry another child they would stop. That doctor on tv said she could not find any reason why they could not have more. I had pre-e with my first but I was lucky to not get it until right around my due date. But we still chose to have a second child in which I could get it again. All I'm saying is yes something happened with her last pg. Is she risking her life to have another yes but so are you, so am I and anyone else who is pg right now.

Well it won't be surprising, either way, lol.

I get why logically, people want to say they shouldn't have more kids, they should do x or y....but they can't. They believe that hormonal BC causes abortions because of the belief that life begins at conception. Therefore to them, a fertilized egg, even before implantation, is life. On the slight chance a BC pill would prevent implantation (because it failed to prevent ovulation as it is supposed to, and egg got fertilized anyway) then that would be a loss of life for it to not implant.

  Now personally, I happen to believe otherwise when it comes to the pill-I don't think it causes abortions. But I do understand where the belief comes from. I have a friend who believes this way and plans on a large family. And so, with that belief, there is no choice to be made. They don't want to control the size of their family.

And Michelle is in her 40s. I would not be surprised if she has at least one more baby before she deals with menopausal issues.

I do find them fascinating. I'm glad it works for them but every now and then I see things that bother me.  I think during the chickenpox episode one of the older girls said something like "Dad did so good with the little girls, and thats not his jurisdiction"

Well I would hope he would step in! They are his kids after all! Sometimes I feel the girls don't get to be girls, they are young mommies. I know thats the only life they know, I'm sure they are happy, it just bugs me sometimes.

As far as Michelle being in menopause, My mom had my sister when she was 42 years old!

bahaha i was gonna say the same thing. but i disagree about forcing a tubal on anyone. though i do think id love to teach jim bob how to put a condom on a banana

While I do hope it's Josh and Anna, I wouldn't be all uppity if it were Jim Bob and Michelle.  As PP have said, they provide for their children, raise them in a home full of love, and aren't using up our tax dollars on their brood. 

I do wonder sometimes if those older girls are getting a fair "childhood" - but honestly, I know so many families with 2-3 kids in WAY worse circumstances.  How can I judge?  Those kids are better off than most.

It's not a lifestyle I want, but I can't honestly bring myself to believe that it's bad for them.  They're making it work and they're happy.

Jim Bob is clearly getting way more @ss than my husband is - right about now I'm sure Tom would trade me in for Michelle, no questions asked.
