Looking for activities to do with toddler

I have toddler and a newborn and live in the Cleveland area.  I want suggestions for activities to do with my toddler.  Or if you know of any child friendly special events coming up i.e. Boo at the Zoo...any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks!

  • It's getting to be the season for weekly storytime at the local libraries. Definitely check into that. Depending on the library system, they're either daytime or evening -- some offer both. I'll be taking my 2 yr old again to storytime starting in a couple weeks.

  • I highly second the story time idea - I know in Lakewood you must sign up and in Bay it's a drop in program.  There's also a pretty active Mothers and More group on the west side that does lots of toddler activities - you can look them up on MeetUp.
  • Story time at the library is always nice. Also check out your local Y or rec center. They usually have mom and tot swim lessons or gym time. Its a nice time of year to visit the zoo.

  • We just started storytime at our local library.  I have a two year old and a 4 month old and brought both of them to the toddler storytime and they did well.  We go to the zoo a lot.  If you are on the west side, you might be able to find some events at this site:  https://clevelandwest.macaronikid.com/#this-weeks-calendar.  There is a site for eastsiders, as well.
  • Thanks for the link!  I am on the west side... I work full time so I am looking for things to do on the weekends and evenings.  My daughter just turned 2 and my son is 2 months old.
