Having mine made through a local small business... www.lovebugbabybedding.com. She customizes everything and you can add and take away anything you want. i didn't want the bumpers and after taking that away, it was pretty comprable to prices in store.

I ordered ours from BRU. I found it cheaper on other sites but they are having a sale on bedding sets and free shipping on orders over $100 so I saved a lot of money and got it for less it overall after taxes.

i bought a neutral bedding set at a consignment shop that i love, but now that i know i'm having a girl, i really want something pink. so i might make something myself. i saw some pink damask fabric at the fabric store that screamed crib skirt to me.
