Really annoyed as well

You know, I've only been on this board for a short time, but it seems like no one ever responds to my posts.  I just feel really hurt because whenever I'm on, I manage to respond to others.  I guess I need to put my "big girl" pants on and take it, but I'm just really disappointed.  I see a lot of people only posting on the things that are fun or that are cool, but neglect other posts that may not be as interesting.  I try and at least acknowledge people.  Oh well.  I have met some nice ladies on here though I must say so it hasn't been a total waste.  And to those of you (you know who you are), I think you for acting as a friend.

I'm sorry you feel that way. 

I work full time and have a toddler so I don't have time to respond to every single post.  It's not intentional, or aimed to exclude or include anyone.  And I definitely am not aware of any pact to exclude certain posters.

Like I said, sorry you feel left out.  I'm trying to be as nice as possible, but I feel you may get some tougher responses.  You can't let things on an internet message board upset you this much, and you shouldn't take things so personally.

I guess sometimes people just don't have an opinion so they read but don't respond. I know I do that alot, unless I have input I won't post.

It happens. Nobody has to respond to certain posts. It sounds like you're completely overreacting though and might do better with IRL conversation if it's going to hurt your feelings this much to not get a response. There are quite a few times where people don't respond to my posts. I'm not crying because ams is the only one who responded to my super embryo post. It wasn't that interesting... I just wanted to share.

OK, so let me get this straight.  You are annoyed because no one responded to tell you what projects they have going on?  Let point out a few things here.

1. In the NE, most schools started today.  A nightmare for traffic. Not a good way to start the day.
2. Plus?  It a Tuesday after a long holiday weekend and most people's Monday.  Another shiity way to start the week.
3. Maybe, no one has projects going on.  Maybe they do and don't want to share. 
4. We've all been here, what, 5 weeks on average?  You need to give people time to get used to the board,  Let the board work itself out.  Unless people know each other from other boards, there is going to be a whole lot of "who the fvck is that again?" going on here.
5. Most posts don't get a whole lot of responses.  You are not alone.  No one else is crying about it.

 

FFS, if the fact that no one responded is your biggest worry is that no one on the April board is responding to your posts, I'll swap with you.

Yup, our super secret club that includes everyone but you, has decided that you will be ignored.

C'mon, its a slow board. Most posts get 5 or less responses, some get none. If you need attention, try posting on a busier board (ex. 1st tri).

Sorry,  but I don't respond to every single post on here. I do have a job and have to do some work.

Are you asking questions or for an opinion in your posts?  Because if you are just making random statements then people probably don't have anything to add.  You need to grow some thicker skin.

Well, you got your wish... there are a bunch of posts here now.

Relax, it's definitely not that you're getting left out or ignored.  I'm sorry you're disappointed, but I think this is just a slow-moving board b/c it's only for a small section of people.  If you'd like more feedback, there are more popular boards on this site.

Out of curiosity I went back and looked at posts. You had ONE post that didn't get any responses.  I hardly call that being ignored.  Maybe people don't have projects going on or are too busy first thing in the morning to respond. Relax.
