Not that I doubted anyone's recommendations...but you know how kiddos are unpredictable and I almost swore my baby would be the 1 in a million that didn't like it. But we took the plunge and bought it yesterday. Baby E was a pretty good sleeper to begin with but he particularly liked our bed and my chest, which I enjoy giving in to his pleasures once in a while but not make it a habit. The pack n play wasn't doing the trick as he would grunt consistently and wake himself up. So despite my concern that Big E would knock it down, we gave it a try and he slept from 11:30 to 3:30 Am with an occasional grunt but slept much more soundly than before and then the same from 4 AM to 7 AM. One awakening in the middle of the night and no chest/bed sleeping...not too bad. Now let's hope it's not a one night stand.
And about that concern....the RNP is sturdier than I thought and it is lower to the ground than I anticipated as well, so it's not that easy to knock over...I tried. Plus, we put it in the further end of the room just to be safe.
On a side note: My 4 week pospartum visit was today, can't believe it's been a month. All is good, I was told my uterus is now the size of a 6-8 week pregnancy, lovely. I decided to go with the minipill for now...not thrilled but my other alternative was the depo shot and don't want to chance it's side effect of "moodiness" as I am coming out of my baby blues a little later than I wanted. May try depo later if all goes well. Oh, and i'm off "pelvic rest", yay!
Have a great afternoon ladies!

Re: The RNP Sleeper really does work.....
So glad this worked out for you. DH and I are really set on the idea of registering for 2 of these for our master bedroom. Great for organization, has amazing reviews and I love the fact it is ventilated and helps with spit ups at night. At least until we transition them to their cribs. Thanks for the update.
