To continue the trend of cold nights, blankets and sleep sacks below. ;-)
Last winter/spring we used the fleece sleep sacks with sleeves on Ryan with his fleece footies (him room gets cold).
This year he's going to be walking since he is already toddling around. I saw the post below about the big boy ones with the feet, but they almost seem like they'd be too big for Ryan (he can still wear some 9 mos clothes and he'll be a year next month).
I'm thinking the regular footless sleep sacks would be annoying/constricting to him since he moves around so much in his crib, but the feet ones seem too big.
Thoughts?
Re: Sleep Sacks
We never used sleep sacks too often... Evan was never a fan.
On cold nights, I dress him in a fleece footed sleeper with a long sleeved bodysuit and socks under it. He has always stayed warm. Sometimes, if I felt like he'd be cold, I would even put thin Carters pants on him too (under the sleeper)
BUT.. would these ones work? https://www.buybuybaby.com/product.asp?SKU=113720& I think they're smaller than the ones that sandi posted yesterday..

Evan wore this one from about 11 months.

We would put socks on over the ankle cuffs to make sure his foot didn't slip inside. I would definitely avoid sleep sacks without the foot holes once he is standing/walking.
This is the one I just bought, the ones I posted are not walkers but do have long sleeves (and are smaller).
FYI....these walker sleep sacks are HUGE! I got an XL thinking he could wear it all winter (starts at 26 lbs per the package)....um, yeah maybe when he is 3! I am going to return it for the L and see if that works. If not, I will have to figure out plan b!
Yep - they are HUGE! I was shocked when we opened it! Evan still fits in the large. But it worked great once we started using it.
