Didn't you get a Christmas ornament or something made from a cast of Little Miss A's foot/hand? How did it turn out? I'm thinking of doing that with the boys, but I'm still undecided.

yes we got a hand impression and a foot impression.  i still haven't decided what to do w/them yet so for now they are in a closet maybe once we get some shelves up in her play room i will display them in a shadow box?? but i am re-ordering duplicates this year for MIL for ornaments b/c she is the kind of person that gives us an ornament each year (among other things)

 

i think they turned out really well. you can definitely see the ridges in the glass cast of her fingerprints but you have to really look closely and they are not as well defined as i thought they would be. not sure if that is b/c the images are magnified on the website or b/c i didn't get a good enough impression (it was really hard to smoosh a tiny hand/foot into the play-doh like material w/o her squirming and ruining the impression! i seriously had to try like 20x each)
