prob. dumb question re: ringtones

how do I download a song as a ringtone for my phone?  (droid specifically, if it matters)

and what does that typically cost?

never done it before...but I have a new phone now and would really like to :-)

verizon has their little verizon downloads ...cannot remember the name of it... it's actually on their phones though. you can browse and order on the phone and it's only a buck or two.  

I just use the bb classic phone ring.  free

I use Mabilo which is free. Just go to the android app market and download it.
