SIL has always been really competitive with me. Today she posted some new photos of her daughter on FB, and I was secretly delighted to see that my kids are cuter than hers (and I swear it's not just parental pride talking).

I kinda feel bad about thinking this...and yet at the same time I don't.

This cracks me up. My SIL and I get along really well BUT she's always trying to outdo us. Last year I mentioned I wanted Bella to be a ladybug for Halloween since that's her nickname and she bought a ladybug costume for her daughter before I had a chance to shop! This year, I'm starting shopping for Halloween today! I'm hitting up consignment stores in hopes that Bella will have something that SIL can't get her hands on So yep your a bad person and so am I!

Too funny.  Thankfully, my SIL is beyond competing over kid stuff...hers are 13 and 8!  It bugs when people do that sh!t thoough...

Sarah...I found the cutest bumble bee costume on eBay for $0.99 + s/h...you might try eBay in addition to local consignment shops.  Babysrus actually had some adorable costumes for $20 yesterday...I liked this Tinkerbell-eque one and a flower fairy one and of course, they had not one, but two pirate ones!

Ha! Totally get where you are coming from. I have a few competitive SIL's that drive me batty!
