Hi there. I'll be visitng NOLA in Oct with our 7 month old daughter. Any suggestions for places to take her? We'll be staying in the Central Business District. We haven't booked our hotel but are looking at the Best Western on St Christopher, the Sheraton and the St James.
Any tips would be much appreciated!

the children's museum has a nice toddler area for her age.
Also the zoo, aquarium and insectarium would be fun!
audubon park is always good too, a streetcar ride down there would be interesting for her.
The Hampton Inn Convention Center is really nice and affordable. Also I'm not sure what part of October you will be here, but here a few fun October activities (some are not walking distance from hotel area):
