Cloth Diapering

Why I love cloth....

Well, not THE reason, but a new one we just discovered.

Our newborn stash is getting waaaay too small and we're waiting for our one-size to come in, so we were using disposables yesterday while at my parents to make things easier since the super low rise on some of my stash is bugging me.

And wow, I hadn't realized just how much disposables stink (literally) when they get poopy. Nasty. We've been in cloth since she was 2 weeks old and I've never, ever been hit with a poop smell like I was using disposables.

I can't WAIT to get back in cloth full time.

Re: Why I love cloth....

  • I think that disposables smell poopy even when they're not! When DS is in disposables, I'm constantly checking him to see if he's pooped, because it always smells like he has!

Mommy to DD1 (June 2007), DS (January 2010), DD2 (July 2012), and The Next One (EDD 3/31/2015)

  • Of course, after I posted this, too, she also had a blow-out. Our first ever.

She's wearing a cloth diaper again.

I think I need some quality time with Spot's Corner and DiaperSwappers!
