I'm Canadian. What kind of gear are we talking? I had a hard time finding the nursing pillow and wrap I wanted but everything else I picked up at boutiques in the city I live in, Walmart or BRU. Online shopping for baby stuff is obnoxious. I found most Canadian online places didn't have what I wanted and a ton of US places don't ship to Canada.

blondek8, are you in/near Toronto? I figure I will have to check out the boutiques - BRU has a lot of stuff (as does WM) but I keep hearing rave reviews about stuff not available here - like mat clothes from Target, BBB (the store in general...) - Gap does not even have anything mat here anymore and I really had been hoping to get their jeans since the ones I have won't stay up in the back.
The DSNG I can't seem to find in Canada - do you know if it's even available here? I guess if not I could get that across the border...
Oh, and CD - are you a CD'er? If so, where did you get yours?
I'm Canadian as well, from the Maritime provinces.
Most of the stuff was from Toys R' Us we also have a couple boutiques that I was able to buy stuff from...I know there is SO much more available in the States and at better prices!
I got a DSNG around 1 year and a half ago at Toyr R Us (before the babies were born) and I haven't seen them carrying it in a while...there is an online store called Junior Baby here is their site https://www.juniorbaby.com/ I have not ordered anything from there, but they seem to have a lot of stuff so it might be worth to check.
GL!

We live in London, ON. There's a few pretty good boutique-y stores here that I got some of our baby stuff from. I saw the DSNG online at BRU Canada though. We went with the Peg Perego Duette -- a bit of a tank of a stroller but we think it'll work well for us.
As for mat clothes I just shopped at Old Navy, Thyme and Motherhood. I'm an RN so I didn't need to buy nice mat clothes for work b/c I just wore bigger scrubs. I really didn't spend that much $$ on mat clothes -- few pairs of capris/pants and t-shirts.
We debated doing CD'ing for awhile but have decided to go the disposable route. Again the boutiques in the city here sell all kinds of CD supplies. It kinds sucks to see that places like Target and BBB have great baby/mat stuff and they are so not accessible to us, eh? I guess all it takes is a day trip to the States to stock up, but I'm not very mobile at this point! Good luck to ya and happy shopping where ever you end up!
