Ergo.. help!

So... I've gone through several carriers.. a sling.. 2 Baby Bjorns and now that my bubbly B is definitely over 20 lbs I got an Ergo.  We're flying to LA on Thursday.  I can't find the book that was in the box... so I don't have the directions!

Are there any tricks to getting it on right?  Want to figure out the back carry for the airport and then the front for the plane. I'll try today with my DH helping (not that he'll really be any help except make sure she doesn't fall!).. but I need to figure this out ASAP for our trip. There's no way am I can hold my squirmy worm (who just got her first 2 teeth!) the whole 6 hour flight!

Something else I would recommend (if you ever do the hip carry), there is a youtube video if you google "ergo hip carry" that is really helpful.  The instructions from Ergo for the hip carry were difficult to understand.
