What do you do all day? Where do your babies spend their time?
We've relied so heavily on the rock n plays and now that they're outgrowing them I'm wondering where they should be when I can't be holding both of them... jumper? excersaucer? swings? bouncies?
Re: What do you do?
As long as they have good head control, you could introduce an exersaucer, a bumbo w/ play tray and/or a doorway jumper, etc.
My DDs enjoyed their bouncers and I would just sit in front of them and read board books or introduce them to toys that made lots of sounds/lights/textures. The crinkly toys were a hit as were anything that lit up w/ diff. colors.
Do your DSs like their activity mats? I remember practicing a lot of rolling over/ tummy time (my girls weren't big on it but I'd try to distract them with toys/songs, etc. to get them on their bellies.

Another thing...at that age, we were super limited due to tons of snow so we had to be indoors a lot. They really enjoyed just going around in the stroller and observing (and napping!). I would take them to the mall and let them look around as I tried to beat cabin fever.

Well now they spend their day running back and forth across the house, leaving chaos and destruction in their wake.
At that age, they liked to lay on a play mat or blanket on the floor. I'd sit/lay down there with them a lot and we'd read, or talk, or play with hanging toys or whatever. They napped in their swings still so they spent quite a bit of time in those because they slept so much then. I also tried to get us all out of the house at least 3 times a week just to give them new surroundings to look at. We went to the mall, or the lake, or occasionally to visit DH at work if they weren't busy (him and all the guys loved those days).
