Since a baby's caloric needs change with time and therefore the milk as well, does breastmilk frozen at 1 month of age meet my baby's needs if I feed that milk to him at say 5 months?
good question... no answer here, but I also read a new study that said that your milk changes through the day as well, and there's something in it later in the day that (is supposed to) help put baby to sleep, so that brings up the question of whether you should feed baby milk expressed at or near the same time of day...

I had this same question when I went back to work in spring after having built my freezer stash for a couple of months. When I needed to thaw some out, I would just take some of the older stuff and some of the newer stuff and mix those for the day...I figured that should even things out
