implantation bleeding ?

Did any of you experience this? Yesterday afternoon I had one wipe of bright pink blood/mucus...so of course I thought I started AF...but after that I've had nothing...I'm thinking it's still just AF re-regulating itself post-BC...but since you ladies are always so wonderful with answering things, I figured I'd ask

With my non regular cycles I have random spotting...so it might be just your body regulating itself. Implantation bleeding is not super common, but it does happen...usually like after the 6DPO. Also after you see implantation bleeding 24-48 hours you can see your first BFP 'cause after implantation is when your HCG levels start increasing.

I just posted about bleeding the other day. I had 2 days of light spotting and this is my first cycle off the pill. It is gone now and no AF so I know it wasn't just the start of that. What I've found in research is this:

Implantation bleeding would occur 5-10 dpo and is seen by 25-30% of women (so really not that rare, although still most don't see it). Some people also experience ovulation bleeding - sounds to me like it would be tough to know the difference between the two unless you're charting. I am not

There are tons of causes apparently, and regulating post bcp could be one of them.

For me - I'm just waiting it out and maybe next week I'll test. And if this happens again next month, might check with a Dr. to see what's going on (yes, I know I told people I'd go sooner, but after my bleeding turned out to be merely spotting and not the heavier breakthrough I was experiencing on the pill, I stopped freaking out about it )

Normailed- I *think* I'm only 4-5 DPO. I've never had spotting in between AF, but again I'm still regulating I think coming off BC. This is cd29 for me, and last month I had a 40 day cycle (the longest for me so far). The only odd thing about this time (which is possibly TMI) is it was bright pink...normally when AF starts I have dark brown or really dark red blood...so this was something new. I didn't think implanation bleeding was very common, it's just something I've read about before. I'll probably wait a week or so to take a HPT. Thanks for your help girls! I appreciate it!

Maybe 5-8 days before? I remember thinking "well, this is new, my period is early instaead of late..." but then nothing. It happened again the next day too. And it was the same as you - bright pink - and my period start is usually the same as what you describe. I thought the same as you did - maybe it was spotting from BC - I went on 1 round of Nuva Ring the previous august and my period STILL wasn't regular. So, yea, moral of the story - wait like 10 days, just to be sure and then test!!! GL!!!

I might have had it but its hard to tell.  About 48 hours post event, I got it but I had also had my annual exam that morning.  I had been really stressed about it because I was asking a lot of questions about TTC and at what point we should seek help if we were having problems (even though I had read a lot of stuff that I trusted I still wanted to hear it from my doc).  So it could have been from the pelvic exam, implantation bleeding, or both.  (because of the timing there's no way my doc would have been able to tell I was pregnant because of the lack of hormones at that stage.)

ETA:  I had the same thing you described.   A cycle before that cycle I had anovum bleeding which wasn't bright red but dark colored blood, similar type of conditions though where it was enough to notice with wiping but not necessarily enough to leave anything on a liner.

Yeah...just wait at least 5 more days to POAS...I hope this is it for you! I'll be crossing my fingers.

Thank you girls sooooooooooo much for you input & help!! I'm working the next several days, so I'm going to wait until next week to test. I really appreciate your help with this!!!!! I'll keep you girls updated!
