We are so honored and excited to say we are adopting again!!!! My DH and I talked about it and slept on it and both said we were 100% sure about adopting our DD's sibling. So that means Maddie will be a big sister to a baby girl!
We are so excited to share the news with our families. We are going on a big family trip with my parents, in-laws and my BIL & SIL next week and we will share the news with them then. I am thinking of getting a big sister t-shirt for Maddie as the way to tell them.
Two under 2 here we come!

Congrats! Coming from someone who was definitely NOT on board to do this (adopt again, let alone 2 under 2), I can tell you it is the most amazing experience of my life. Hard, yes. Rewarding, beyond description.
H and R are 13.5 months apart. It's amazing to get to see the physical similarities (they look identical) and personality differences (H is crazy out of control with energy, R is very subdued and calm).
How long were you matched with BM first time around? That was the hardest adjustment for us. We were only matched for 2 weeks with H, but were matched around the end of the first trimester with R. It was very different for us.
PSU-I am so happy you commented, I was thinking of you when we got the call. I couldn't remember the age difference between your LO's. So that is close to the age difference our LO's will have (just over 12 months). We had planned to adopt again, but not this soon. I just know that this is really special and a blessing.
Our first match was exactly 3 months to the day of Maddie's birth. This match is a little bit longer just over 4 months. Not as big of difference as you had. Do you have an open adoption? We have a semi-open adoption and I send BM letters and pictures, but we have not seen her since the hospital.
Thanks Katie! I was going to FB you, but I was hoping you would see it on here. I want to tell our family before we put anything on FB.
