    Yes! $425. I could not believe it. My DH wanted to try a pawn shop first. That guy only offered us 241 bucks. When we said we were checking other places he said, "I'll beat any price you get." Uh huh.

    Wow, that is fabulous!  The really great thing is the money as for something that you would never wear again and was easy to part with. 

    I can't remember if I mentioned that my SIL went to three jewelers and the one she went with and told me about was way above the others, so it definitely pays to go to more than one place.

    Good for you!  So, what are you buying with your little windfall?

    It will go toward Christmas. I was getting worried about Christmas because of all of our medical issues lately. These copays and deductibles are killing us. Now, I'm not worried anymore!

    I told DH to look out. I am going to start selling all our crap that we don't use anymore.

    I go through phases of wanting to sell everything off, so I understand what you're feeling!
