Apparently there's some sort of "twin festival" and National Geographics has pics on their site. There's one pic with TWO sets of ID twins. It says in the caption that the odds are 5600:1.
wow- 2 sets of ID twins! She either has weak eggs normally- or he has powerful sperm... that could explain when multiple people in the same family have ID twins.
those are neat pics- showing how even the ID's don't all look exactly alike.... height, etc.
yikes. some of those are kind of creepy. like the girls who have the same schedule in college. i dunno, i hope my boys aren't quite that codependent when they're older!
but the pictures are pretty cool. thanks for posting!
We heard about this festival last month. A bunch of people kept sending me links about it, and of course our beloved Twins were playing in Cleveland that weekend, so there was a twin theme all around. We actually have talked about maybe going someday.
I grew up with a family that has 10 kids including two consecutive sets of identical twin girls. (Awesome family.) I took care of the younger set in the church nursery. I've read the odds of a woman having two sets of ID twins are 1 in 70,000.

ummmm yeah totally creepy - Like the two grown men both dressed like woody from toy story WTH?! and the old guys with the massive beards freaked me out too. Neat pics tho

2 sets of ID twins in the same family? Wow!
One of the MoM's on here went to the festival and has a pic in her siggie of her twin sister and they are holding her twins.
I loved the least alike photos too - I think that is the category my boys would have to enter!
oh i thought that picture was so neat!
