It is an Anamis One Touch Ping. I am using U-500 regular insulin in it because I was requiring about 260 units of U-100 Humalog and Lantus per day. So far I like it a lot. I was just a bit nervous Tuesday night. My sugars kept going up and up and finally at 1:30 in the morning I changed sites and re-bolused and everything was fine.
The amusing thing is my four year old daughter doesn't like it because she liked giving me my insulin injections. I would draw them up and put the needle in and let her push the plunger. Now she says I have a robot brain controlling my sugar.
Re: Got insulin pump on Tuesday..
I have a medtronic minmed pump and I LOVE IT!
I would never change back to pens....never ever ever!
I am very thankful that some kind soul decided this type 2 mom to be could be covered by insurance for her insulin pump. Yeah!
