Cloth Diapering

Reccomend your CD. (bare with me here)

I'm sure this gets posted a lot. I went back a couple pages to see if I could find a thread but I didn't have any luck and we all know the search function sucks.

Anyways, recommend your CD brand please. I plan to breastfeed (so runnier poop) and I will be a SAHM. TIA!!

  • My cousin is using econobum made by the same people as bumgenius, just cheaper and she loves them. I am gonna get some of those and then get a couple more expensive covers also just in case

  • My LO has skinny legs so we love Fuzzibunz OS.  I use BG 3.0 during the day as well as prefolds, but our FB are our go to for going out or overnight.

  • If you'll be washing your own, I think the prefolds work great, especially around the house.  Most the time at home we don't even use a cover so that we can change him right away.  For out and about when I don't want him peeing on friends and family, we like to use an insert (any brand works, I prefer using cotton or hemp against his bum) with a cover.  We used the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap when he was NB until around 15 lbs.  Now at 8 months, since we practice elimination communication, we really like using an insert with the IMSE VIMSE wool diaper cover.  Since he doesn't usually pee in his diaper, the cover hardly gets wet so taking care if it has been that a problem for us.

We also have the  FuzziBunz pocket diaper that I like when my mom or MIL watch him.  It's easier than folding dipes, just like a disposable.
