? for those with a Medela PISA

I noticed a while ago that it sounded like there was air leaking out of the pump part (the part that is actually in the bag).  I could never figure out where it was coming from and I still had suction so I forgot about it.  This morning though I was able to figure out it is coming from in the center of the pump where the little yellow rubber piece that you can use to cover one of the ports if you are only single pumping is attached.  Does anyone else have air leakage from that spot?  Is it normal?  I don't know if it was always there and I didn't notice it or if it is a defect and I should call Medela?  Thanks!

My pump does the same thing and has since I bought it. I have never had a problem with suction, I just figured it was normal.

Nope, no air leaking for me.  I would probably call.  You might still have suction now, but if it gets any worse, they you could lose all suction!  You might be turning the suction up higher than normal to compensate for the loss of suction with the leak too. It might be as simple as replacing the stopper.

I am sending an email right now because I am at work but I will follow up as soon as I hear from them!

i would love a follow up post....mine does the same thing...and it moves up and down as well....has done that since day one as well...and i have always wondered about the suction on it!
