BFN before BFP

I am TTC and tested today at 10 dpo with First Response and it was negative.

Can anyone share a negative to positive story?  I know 10 dpo is early to test, but I have a feeling I may be out this cycle.  Perhaps hearing a few BFN to BFP stories will give me some hope!?

I tested at 10 DPO with a FRER and got a BFN and then I retested at 12 DPO and got a + on 12, 13 and 14 DPO.

Now I'm just waiting for bw to confirm that it is a successful pregnancy.  GL to you.  I would retest at a later date.

I have one but it was really early when I tested. I got a BFN at 6dpo and then tested on a whim (thought AF was coming because I was having cramps) and got a BFP at 8dpo (faint line) then used a digital and got a yes+.  I don't know if this will help but I hope so

I got a BFN with FRER at 10 DPO, but then a BFP at 14 DPO. Just had our first u/s yesterday at 8w4d and baby looks great with a strong heartbeat! Are you charting your temps? That's the only way to know when you O'd and how many DPO you really are.

I got BFN's on 11, 12 and 13 DPO and my BFP at 14 DPO.

I got a BFN on 12 DPO and a BFP at 13 DPO. I also got BFNs when I wasnt pregnant. It is possible to test too early, its also possible that you're not pregnant. Gonna have to wait to find out.

I had a BFN 9, 10, and 11 DPO with a very, very, very faint BFP on 12 DPO on FRER.  On 13 DPO I had a faint but definitely more visible BFP on an FRER and a "Pregnant" on a CBE digital.  Good luck!

Exactly this for me too! I took 6 tests in all because I didn't believe it lol GL

I got a negative on 9 dpo and 10 dpo, then a BFP on 12dpo..........I had a BFP on 9 dpo with my first son.

The earlier you start testing the higher the odds that you'll get a BFN before a BFP.  I had no patience and started testing around 9DPO (I think) and got my BFP at 12DPO.

I got a BFN at 11 dpo with this LO and even at 13dpo I got an uber faint line.  My normal LP is 12 days.

I got a BFN on 10dpo and 11dpo, on 12dpo I tested with FMU on a whim and got the faintest BFP, it was an internet cheapie.  I confirmed on a digital that night.  Good luck to you!

I wasn't charting this time but I typically ovulate on day 14, so I'm pretty sure of my dates. I started taking tests the morning of 9 DPO (because that's when I got my bfp with DD) and took them every morning until 14 DPO. All were negative, so I gave up and stopped testing. By 16 DPO I still hadn't gotten my period so I tested again and it was positive! I was so shocked I went out and bought a digital, also positive. GL!

I didn't test until 12dpo, but it was a very faint BFP, so I'm sure if I would have tested at 10dpo it would have been a BFN.

I am 23 yrs old so this was a long time ago but when my mom tested with me she got BFN and then went to the store and when she came back it was BFP. They weren't wanting a baby so she cried. But they are so happy they had me now. Things can change but don't get yourself over excited or anything. Just relax and wait until you miss your period.
