I heard to add cereal to a bottle at night to get LO to sleep longer? Did anybody do this and if so when did you start? I BF so also just thought about trying a formula bottle before bed. Can I mix cereal with BM?

Re: When did you start adding cereal to a bottle
We never did (I have heard you really shouldn't.) We started cereal from a spoon in the morning this past Friday.
I have heard of it for reflux but I wouldn't do it to see if they would sleep through the night or not. They will when they are ready. Keegan started at about 3 months old and did for a while. Just the past few weeks though he has started getting up around 3:00/3:30. Thier schedules can change. It will happen... just give it time.
ditto the PP's.
Unless your child has reflux you have no need and should not be putting cereal in a bottle.
If you are going to do it, do it from a spoon but that shouldn't be until 4-6 mo.
If you are BFing, try pumping a bottle of milk for night time instead of nursing.
p.s. I'd suggest a google search on when it is recommend to start solids and it's link with childhood obesity.
