Who is still POAS???

With all the talks of being anxious and 1st appointments feeling so far off - is anyone still POAS just for peace of mind???

    DH and I went to the dollar store last night and he actually stopped me from buying a test. I would have had I been alone. I am not ashamed.

    I will openly admit, that even with my confirming positive blood test at the OBs office yesterday, I am still POAS lol

    In my defense I have some extra tests that didn't get used before my "official" BFP (digital & unmistakable FRER) on friday, so I figure why not?!?! Lol it's just nice to see those lines, most days they are even getting darker, so it does give me some peace of mind.

    Do OPKs count? Since getting my official BFP, I've peed on approximately 4 pregnancy tests and 10 OPKs.  I'm down to one last pregnancy test and I'm saving it for when I'm feeling really neurotic. (So probably tomorrow morning).

    Yes, I peed on one this morning!  But I only got my BFP yesterday so I feel justified for some reason - and my first appointment isn't until October, feels years away!

    I peed on a FRER and a digital on the day of my BFP (Friday) and one FRER on Monday, so that's 3 so far.

    I've got two FRERs and one digital left and I'll probably take one of those before my first u/s on the 20th.

    I took a lot more last time, maybe 10 or so? So I understand the addiction. :-)

    OMG this is me exactly!!!

    I got my "official" BFP on Friday with an FRER and a digital - I peed on another FRER yesterday, just because I was finally officially 1 day late for AF and so I wanted to make sure - and I still have two FRERs and one digital left, one of those that I will probably save to use right before my first appointment on the 20th!!!

    No, but I can see the temptation! ha!  A HPT will still come up positive with a HCG level as low as 25 or something like that which wouldn't give me peace of mind.  If POAS also gave me beta numbers, I'd probably do it twice a day. lol!

    I have still not POAS even though both my 1st beta was 537 and 2nd beta was over 1200. I have one pg test sitting in my closet, but somehow I''m afraid of taking it and having it suddenly be negative.
    IVF, acupuncture, meditation and a miracle.

    • 3/10- 5/10: IUI #2 Clomid 150mg; IUI #2.2: gonalf, lupron; IUI #2.3: 2 rounds of 5mg Femara=All cancelled for nonresponse
    • 6/10 -IUI#2.4: gonalf, ganirelix, estrace, ovidrel, endometrium- early M/C
    • 8/10- IUI #3: gonalf, ganirelix, ovidrel, estrace, endometrium, lovenox, hcg boosters= BFP;  Beta#1=179, Beta#2= 360, Beta#3=1775; 1 perfect little HB!
