what do i do NOW?

so my sweet baby is finally taking a bottle with no issues.  except one.  i went out to dinner with the girls last night but made sure i was going to be home by latest possible bedtime just in case.  good thing i was.  by the time i got home at 8, my husband had been trying to get our screaming child to take the bottle for 45 mins.  so she refuses to take a bottle at bedtime i guess?  my husband said he tried feeding her downstairs first, so that didn't work.  so am i never supposed to have a dinner date ever again?  we're supposed to go to a wedding at the end of september but i don't want to leave her with a poor, unsuspecting babysitter if she's gonna scream bloody murder the whole time.  how do we fix this????  any ideas?

  • Maybe it was a one time thing.  One of my boys did this the other night.

  • Just keep having DH introduce it at night time... When LO starts to fuss you can nurse. Eventually they'll get used to it, like anything else.
