I'm about ready to break out the crockpot for fall, and I'm looking for some new recipe ideas. I already do chili, beef stew, chicken soup and pot roast.
I just made this the other night. It sounds weird but honest to God it was good
3 lb beef brisket, 1 C ketchup, 1/3 C grape or plum jelly, 1 packet dry onion soup mix. Heat all of this stuff and pour it over the meat and cook 9 hours on low. I would have put cut up potatoes on the bottom and increased the mix if I had thought ahead...next time!
My favorite money saving tip: I've earned more than $300 in gift cards (Amazon, Starbucks, Southwest!) using SwagBucks for internet searching - and you can too!
It's FREE and EASY!
get as much chicken as you want - i use like 5pounds of boneless chicken.
put it in the crock pot with some italian dressing - as much as you want - i make sure the chicken is covered. i also throw in a little italian seasoning too. i leave it on low all day from like 6 or 7am to 5pm. by the time its done it just falls apart. then i make some whole wheat pasta and put the chicken on top with a veggie on the side! its so good - ugh i make it at least once a week! hahaha

I just made pulled pork last night for the first time, it was soooo yummy! I can't wait for leftovers tonight I just got a pork roast and a seasoning packet for pulled pork!!!!
my other fav is roast with vegies and I use a gravy packet in that...
I have also done pork or chicken with carrots and mushroom soup, then pour over the wide egg noodles!
I need to buy a new crock pot...I have this one and it cooks WAY to hot. It goes to warm after the time is over and I still think it cooks...any recommendations for your crock pot??

spray the crockpot and place 3-4 chicken breasts on the bottom, pour in one small jar of salsa and 1/2 - 3/4 of a packet of taco seasoning. I cooked that on high for 2 hours (could do low for 4 hours - or until the chicken pulls apart). Add 1/2 - 1 cup of sour cream and 1/2 -1 cup of cheddar cheese. Mix through. I served mine on tortillas but you can also put it on rice. So easy and SO delicious!

ooh thanks! looks like they have a ton of good ones.
I loooove using my crockpot. I usually make pot roast, corned beef and pulled pork. I've made a curry dish once and pasta sauces, too!
