how does Etsy work? I'm confused...

I'm about to buy some of those water proof labels that lrb posted about, but I'm about to pay but it hasn't prompted me about what color and name to put on them....is this something that the seller then contacts me about?  Will it ask for it at the next screen?  I don't want to hit "commit" until I've specified what I want on the labels.

there is a comments to seller box where you specify what you want. I think its where you do the final review, not sure though.

yes after you commit there will be a box for notes to the seller. You will need to put color- name- style there.

Ditto the others. 

Anytime I buy anything "custom" on Etsy, I always contact the seller first before paying.  Make sure the seller can accommodate your requests and a lot of times they will even set up a custom listing for you so you know exactly what you're buying.
