I do have a dr.s appointment tomorrow a.m. and plan on asking this --
but as of late, I haven't really felt constant movement as I have for the past 4 weeks. She's very quiet in there, although I have felt a few flutters, etc.
During growth spurts are babies more sleepy or active? (maybe a dumb question) but thought I would get people's opinion since I don't post much and thought to get a topic started.
TIA!
Re: Growth spurts?
I don't know if there is scientific proof to this but I believe it. There are times when our little guy is so quiet that I freak out. Then a few days go by and all the sudden he is on the move non-stop.
I guess if you think about it, toddlers tend to sleep more when they're going through a growth spurt so why wouldn't it be the same for little babies?
Here's what I've noticed with my little guy.
I get really, really hungry for a day, day and a half and then the baby isn't very wiggly for a day. A day or two after that my bump gets noticeably bigger and he starts back to wiggling like crazy. I've decided that when I'm hungry he's growing a ton and then runs out of wiggle room, and that's why he's so calm....it's a very scientific explanation, I know.
